A girl-graduate of Music Conservatory in Ceske Budejovice(2003), was a student of prof.Hraničková
She got the first prize on 22nd Conservatory´s show in Pardubice (1998). Ilona was a semifinalist
of international show in Vienna called „Hans Gabor“ in 2003. She entered on university „Mozarteum“
in Salzburg after school-leaving exam in 2000. Ms Tichá had chance to impersonate here a role
of Marcellina in „La Nozze di Figaro“. She cooperated with many personalities such as N. Singer
(a conductress from La Scala) or House S. McLain (Sydney Opera´s soloist).
She participated on many prestigious shows – for example „Festival of young artists“ in Passau,
concert tour in french Nancy, Ms Tichá sang at opening concert „Days of French Culture“,
she guested in Moravian Theatre Olomouc, State opera in Banska Bystrica, Brno´s National Theatre,
presently she guests in „NDM Ostrava“ and in J.K. Tyl´s Theatre in Pilsen. She frequently guests abroad –
Germany, Austria, Hungary, France... In 2009 she won the Opava Thalia Price for the role of Ljubasa
in the Rimsky-Korsakov´s Tsar´s Bride, in 2015 the Audience Price in the Silesian Theater Opava.
She also is very successful in the pedagogical field. She prepared many of her students for the study
in the Conservatory and University. In 2006-2015 she appeared as the soloist of the opera
in the Silesian Theater Opava. At the moment she is working as a teacher of singing in the Music school
in Krnov and as a chief of the choir Voices. Besides her theatrical activities she also is very busy in her
concert appearances. With her colleague Denisa Strnadova she created the concert duo Denil.
